Please can someone help me with this error message i get when running my dynamo script. I am trying to export schedules to excel

@Josh.allen3 ,

puh i think you have to manage in dynamo directly your script! maybe there are old packages … ?

Which Revit and Dynamo do you use?

The problem is, i use the exact same as my colleague but it works perfect on theirs. Is it because the script was built on my dynamo? do i need to uninstall and reinstall? i just dont know

@Josh.allen3 ,

be aware that you also share the same PackageFolder!

what do you mean exactly by that? How does that effect it?

Thanks again,

Josh

@Josh.allen3 ,

f.e. if your college uses clockwork

you have a “clean” dynamo, so the scripts will not work…

Oh right okay.

We both have the exact same packages? So how do i go about resolving that

@Josh.allen3 ,

just copy/paste the package folder…

could be here
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Dynamo\Dynamo Revit\2.12…

So i just need to copy their package folder onto my laptop. Then inside Dynamo i make that the package folder and it should work?

This is a Microsoft interop error. For some reason, your interop file is likely missing.

Repair excel or your office products shouldering the issue. Just be aware that the path for some products may move. For me, outlook moved into another folder and I wasn’t able to access it over the old path.
