Just upgraded to Civil 3D 2024.3, opened Dynamo Player, added a folder to reference in some graphs and the Player goes blank.
Close, restart Civil 3D, restart PC, no luck. Now it opens, loads, I can see some menus for a brief moment, then blank.
Guessing a conflicting add-on. Disable all 3rd party add-ins for Civil 3D and see if that fixes it.
No third party apps loaded in C3D. Was able to replicate the problem on a coworkers machine pretty easily…I think by selecting a folder without any .dyn files within it.
Managed to “fix” it by quickly selecting the add folder button, then the blue add button and then I dunno, random button clicking trying to load files, unload files, search for files…all before the player finished loading, it took maybe 10 attempts furiously clicking on things in the 5 seconds I had until it went blank again.
Wish I had a better answer…but I was frustrated, so not in the best mood to execute a thorough testing protocol.
