Placing Electrical Families at Linked Locations - Hosting and Rotation issues (Revit 2025)

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to automate the placement of my Electrical/Lighting Families based on a linked consultant’s model in Revit 2025.

My Workflow:
I’ve tried using Dynamo (with BimorphNodes and Rhythm) and DiRootsOne (FamilyReviser/CopySoft).

The Issues:

1. Hosting & Elevation: Elements are being placed at Level 0 (Z=0) instead of matching the linked element’s Offset. My families are mostly Face-based or Work Plane-based.

2. Orientation: I can’t get the instances to rotate correctly according to the linked element’s facing orientation.

3. Transform: I’m having some trouble with the TotalTransform node in 2026, leading to Null values or incorrect coordinates.

What I need:
Is there a stable 2025 workflow or a pre-made script that handles the “Swap” between linked families and local families while maintaining the correct Hosting, Elevation, and Rotation?

Any help or sample .dyn files would be greatly appreciated!
(I’m exhausted from manually modeling element by element in every apartment)

Try family instance by reference from geniuls loci, works on link, guess spring family instance by face works as well…
