Place Family Instance By Curve

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help with the following. I am trying to place a line based family along a divided curve. I have found the Clockwork Node “Place Family Instance By Curve” but this have no output. I have made a very simple graph to test. Am I missing anything simple? I can get this to work for a divided line but it fails for a curved element.
