I have a project which is heavily dependent on the interrogation of utility information. The information has been created as pipe networks; I have created cross sections and sampled them and they display fine. I am anticipating being asked to label the depths of each utility against the existing and proposed ground models. Which sound like an ideal job to automate.
I only have 51 cross sections, so the project is not massive but there are a mass of utilities in the area we are working in.
There isnt a section label which shows the depth from top of pipe to ground level.
I do not have alignments for the pipe networks and isnt a route i want to go down, the only alignment I am using is the one representing the kerb channel which is what the sections are cut along.
I admit i have been using AI to help me but it hasnt really done much other than ttry to avoid doing the thing i have asked for.
I am using C3D 2024 and Dynamo 2.17.0.2151 - i know not the latest but it is what i have. I have raised the issues with this. I have arkance nodes, civil 3D toolkit and camber add ons.
