Hi everyone,
I was trying to get the length of a structural framing member using the parameter by name module and when i try extracting the length i get a zero length. I changed the default display unit style to decimal ft because I dont want to deal with fractional ft and inches. However, before doing that the parameter by name module displayed the correct thing. Is there some sort of workaround this issue? Any help is appreciated as always and many thanks in advance!
I figured it out. When changing the units in the manager tab i had choosen to round to the nearest 1000 and had forgotten to specify ft as the units
