Packages problem


when ever i want to upgrade a package i get an error:

anyone knows what the problem is?

The error message is cut off - can you repost?

Many people seem to have issues when using the downloader from Dynamo.

I suggest to ALLWAYS install packages ‘manually’.

Many more users have no issue - the manual installer should be a last resort, doubly so with the new dependency tools added into new builds. Getting to the root is important here as a result.

@NERDASORUS if you could post the full error message And Dynamo log file that would be helpful.

If you are upgrading any package with zero-touch nodes (these normally have a custom icon in the library) you need to uninstall them first.

  • Go to packages
  • select uninstall
  • restart revit and dynamo
  • reinstall
