OpenMEP Package Feedback Thread

Hi, I installed but not seen on Dynamo add-on list.
I using two version of Revit could you please advise me thanks.
Revit 2020.1 & Dynamo Revit 2.2.1.5291
Revit 2022 & Dynamo Revit 2.10.1.4002

Hi @pe_simon

  • For Revit 2020, the support version of Dynamo Revit is 2.3
  • For Revit 2022, the supprot version of Dynamo Revit is 2.12
In case you need to use for older version like problem you are facing , you need to do manual way
    1. Copy Dynamo Sanbox to target folder support e.g :
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Dynamo\Dynamo Core\2.16\packages\OpenMEP
    1. Copy Dynamo Revit package support to folder support :
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Dynamo\Dynamo Revit\2.16\packages\OpenMEP

Hi. Any video for the procedure? thanks.

    • I download Dynamo Sanbox (DynamoCoreRuntime3.4.0) and extracted to the C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\Dynamo\Dynamo Revit\2.16\packages\OpenMEP
    • But Cannot find the Dynamo Revit package support for download.

Hi @pe_simon , you need to download msi Match with Revit not in sandbox because your target is keep using inside revit. I will explain what is included in Revit msi installation from release:

  • Sandbox : Use Dynamo independent without Revit or Autocad
  • Revit : Can use with Sandbox and Revit
  • Civil : Can use with Sandbox and Civil3D

unfortunately, I don’t have any video tutorials to help you step by step , but I hope what I’m explained is make sense to you !

Can’t install OpenMEP for Revit 2025.4
I installed the latest version (OpenMEPRevit-2.0.24.2811556.msi) of OpenMEP. However, the package does not appear in the Dynamo installed packages or Add-Ons list.
