Move down a level in a list

I’m wondering how I can access different levels of a nested list. In the first image, how would I be able to “flatten” (i know that’s not the right word for this, but I’m at a loss), to the circled level of the list so that it would be something more like the second image. Thanks!

actually i think it is still called flatten

just right click on the node and switch the lacing to longest
