Hello guys,
I am new to Dynamo and would appreciate your help on this. I was wondering how to merge a group of layers in Civil 3D into on single layers and delete the remaining.
Thanks

if somebody where to post this node for the community it would be pretty sweet…
You can do this directly from within the Layer Manager. Is that no good?
thanks for your feedback. I am familiar with the out of the box functionality to merge layers thru the layer manager, which is great.
for merging layers at scale, the specific request is for a dynamo node with 2 inputs.
input 1 = layer to be merged
input 2 = destination layer
output1 = destination layer.
perhaps somebody in the community has this python node already built.
Hola amigo @ddrennen2QDK2 buenas. I agree with @s.proch, the command Merge selected layers to, from the menu layer is powerfull enough, i think you will waste much more time writing the names of layers each time that you run the script, but how i am to judge the initiative?
I don’t think there is a node nor a script in phyton for this, the alternative would be to use Document.SendCommand from the Camber package, this will allow you to simulate old school “.scr” scripts, here is an example for your particular case, I hope this helps you!
