I’m trying to filter MEP Fabrication parts in different views and produce a list of elements that are in multiple views. I’ve filtered them by view and just created an intersection list that gives me the information I need, but the results are inconsistent.
The item in the image with the Element ID of 9483433 falls under the MEP Fabrication Containment category and when I run the script with no elements hidden in the view they do not appear in the list. But when I hide everything in the view, bar those elements, they do show.
However, when I pull just the MEP Fabrication Containment category from the same view with all elements visible it pulls that specific element:
