Lists - Read And Write

Hi, I usually use Read and Write To Excel File for lists but in the .dyn I am trying to create I need quicker read and write tool.

Any suggestions?

Hi Kulkul,

Sorry, I was in a rush and didn’t make myself clear enough.

So, I am trying to “animate” using dynamo. As you can see in the image below I read an Excel file to set new coordinates to an object. Afterwards I incement and overwrite these coordinates to obtain a new postion.
I am running this on periodic mode so the object keeps moving.

I works fine, but eventually it tends to crash. I have the feeling that Excel can’t keep up.

We created Dynanimator, an animation package for Dynamo, two years ago. It has a node that moves the position of a camera on a given path. Maybe you can adapt some of the techniques used there for what you want to accomplish. No guarantees, though - the package hasn’t been updated for a long time so I’m not sure if it’ll actually run with a current Dynamo build.You can find some documentation and samples here:
