Join status of walls

Hi,
In Revit there is a possibility to change the join status of walls to dissalow join before placing the wall. It remembers this setting when when you place the next wall.
I`ve been looking on different forums to do this with the revit API. Does anyone have a tip?
What I found is a way to change the join status after placing the walls. But not before placing it. The problem with changing it after placing the walls is that Revit changes the length of the wall automatically.

underneath I added a printscreen of the joint status option in Revit. By default I set it to disallow join. It remembers this setting when placing the next wall. How could I achieve this with the API?

It seems like it isn’t possible :frowning:

As a workaround… how about making a wall somewhere random, set it to not join, then move it to where you want it?

Apologies,

Mark

Thats a good idea. I’ll try that.
Thanks!:+1:
