Is it possible renumbering areas by spline?

Hi, everyone!

I would like to know if it is possible renumbering areas by spline, because I created a shared parameter to numbering stores/apartments, but I want automate this. I try to create a routine, but the node “Element.BoundingBox” isn’t work. Is it because areas are not 3D elements?

Hi @thur ,

Is there a specific reason you are turning your area into a Bounding Box?
You could also use the node Element.Geometry to get the area as Dynamo geometry.

I would also advise having a good read of the existing forum posts on renumbering elements by spline to see how others have gone about it. Foundationally the principles will be the same.

Hey guys, thanks for the tips.

I avoided using the Bounding Box like you said and I chose the Rhythm’s node Areas.Boundaries. Also, I changed my geometry scaling to normal and it’ was a success!
