In profile creation from file (asci)

civil 3d. In profile creation from file (asci) i need curve length values in 3 column of file, so have radius and grade change values,

  1. how can i find curve length (which is exact same as curve length that show in profile geometry editor) from that either for circular or symmetric parabolic curves.
  2. i am new to dynamo concepts suggest any dynamo file or procedure to built dynamo graph which can add curves from excel file with radius

Welcome to the forum.
What have you tried so far? The search function is really good and then I recommend you to download Arkance, Camber and Civil 3D Toolkit package.

this are the input i have, to generate profile from file (

) i need symmetric parabola length from above input parameter.
it would be highly appreciated if you provide formula for the curve length which civil 3d use, or provide a .dyn for which can create a profile from .csv file with above values as input parameter ( pvi station, elevation, curve type and radius)
