How to get Cad door number into Revit Doors?

Hello,

What I’m trying to do: I want to renumber the doors in Revit using data extracted from cad file [excel sheet], the point circled in blue in the picture below has the door number from cad and the one circled in red is the door location in Revit.

I’m trying to establish a relationship between the door and the point representing its tag in cad, then I will be able to get that info into the door mark in Revit.

I though finding the closest points will do the trick, but I’m open to other suggestions !!

If you exported the numbers and their XY locations from AutoCAD (with LISP or whatever) to a CSV, you could consume those data in Dynamo and try to correlate them with the Revit Families’ locations and change their Marks.

Thats what I got so far, I have the data from the cad file, what I dont know yet is how to make the connection with the revit families.

@mhasafa From the Location Point you can get the Door using Dynamo and then place the Door Number by reading the coordinates from Excel. If you pass me your dataset, I can provide you the DYN file with solution.
