Hi,
Is there any way to get the schedule of the floor parts sizes (Width & Length).
If can’t schedule the size any other options available to do the floor tile.
Are these tiles represented by a hatch pattern?
You can’t schedule a hatch, but you can use the hatch lines to derive the data you’re after. Depends on the intended use and incoming data state.
This not a Hatch, Its a Parts element created on floor.
Generally we can extract length & Depth for wall hosted parts.
In that way we have any options to extract floor hosted parts?
So you converted the floor to parts?
Next step is to select the floor (not the parts), extract the parts therefrom, filter the parts to the material in question, get the geometry from that, and extract the minimum bounding volume for each, write the length, width and depth to parameters of each part, and then you can schedule with filter by material if memory serves.
Thanks for your guidance.
I got the schedule using the attached script.
DY-Q002 - Schedule for Parts ( Floor Host ).dyn (42.1 KB)
If you can simplify the script let me know,
Thanks.
