how can i find out which linestyle “is used” ? is it even possible…
i want to clean up my template … how can i manage that

Look in every possible place that could use them and find what is missing. No more direct way.
And yes that will be in a lot of places. Apps like ideate style manager have went that extra yard in identifying unused and developing merge capabilities.

Are you concerned with Line Styles, Line Patterns, or both? (You mention style but show pattern in your screenshot.)
Line Patterns you can get pretty easily from the Line Styles (if you ignore overridden instances). Line Patterns in use becomes the nightmare described above.
