How to edit a windows mark parameter from the room id

Hello there,

I’m having problems in how to be able to edit a windows ‘mark’ parameter by figuring out what room the window is in and grabbing that information and adding it into my ‘mark’ parameter.

Trying to save myself from a very tedious task of manually having to edit the parameter with the room id in it.

Thanks.

Hi,

Can you show us what you’ve done so far?

Hi @grg9CTWA , welcome them to the community!

Could you show your graph for review?

There are two nodes that might help you from the clockwork package.

I wasn’t able to get Clockwork one to work for me, but I’ve just become stuck on how to proceed. I’m new to Dynamo so still trying to figure things out.

Using a package called Crumple for the phases and collection.
selection by categories lets you select which windows you want to use. (there is a lsmall fininsh box you press when done easy to miss its above your properties/projectbrowser window in revit).

also uses clockwork Room.Windows it requires you to feed the actual phase and not just the name.

Thank you for that, I will see if I can get it to work.
