How to automatically add and set parameters to elements in a project?

Hello,

In my project, I would like to automatically add and set a parameter named “code” to each element’s family (valve, pump, elbow…).

For example, all copper valves with a diameter of 50 mm have the code 12345.

Is there a node, an add-in, or a way to do so?

I suggest browsing the Dynamo Primer and searching the forum for similar processes. This is a common task that’s been solved in many different ways many times.
