Hi there,

I’m doing a script hostig a detector to a ceiling, but I don’t know why is not working like I would like to.

I have a problem with the Z coordinate. Even When I tell it the Z of the host, It appears in Z=0.00

Hi Manel,

That node is intended for window and door families. Usually MEP equipment is either face hosted or plane hosted. Could you try the “FamilyInsance.ByFacePoints” node instead and see if that works?
