I have a blank Revit model that I link all of the design models to that create my project building. That model creates the section boxes, but now in these 3D views I want to filter out the 3D elements that have been modeled in by subcontractors so I need to filter only specific elements out of the Revit 3D section view. For example, my detention sub has modeled all of the security doors, but not overhead rolling doors. So I can’t just turn off all the doors in the 3D section, I have to create filters inside the individual Revit models like “doors - detention” and turn them off in the model.
I did some research and try to hide the certain elements, but I always run into an issue with it. Please see the image below
