Feature Line - add point at contour line intersection

Hi guys,

Is there a way to add points at all the intersections of the feature line with a surface contour lines?

If there is a will, there is a way! Could you maybe share some pictures and data?

Basically to get this process done for my task i have to use the mapclean command. Select the polyline and contour lines, and select the “break crossing objects” cleanup action. This will create a spliced version of the polyline. Then i use the joint command to recreate the original polyline but now it will have a vertex at every location that intersected a contour line. Finally, i create a feature line from object and capture the elevation at the vertex locations only. All this process i want to be able to automate and be included in a Building Average grade calculation table.
