Hello,
I have created a new Structural Foundations family with a dynamo script, i wish to insert an instance of that family inside a Revit model of a building.
I have issues when trying to set the distance of the slab to the level it is hosted in. I believe there must be something in the dynamo script that is restricting the insertion of the family in the model, and I want to be able to set the insertion point as the corner of the slab.
How can I workaround these restrictions when trying to insert the element in the revit model?
I opened the family created by doing ‘edit family’ and I realized the element is far away from the reference planes:
