I have created an excavation plan in Revit using building pads from Massing & Site. Now, I want to export the coordinates of the pads to an Excel CSV file.
I have tried several approaches such as family.getinstance & element.getlocation. But, none of these work.
Can someone please help me out?
I ran the script and it worked! I exported a CSV file and had my x y z coordinates. I just don’t understand why there are so many columns of x y z. Shouldn’t there just be 3 columns? What am I missing here? I’m attaching the picture of the csv file.
