Export objects to new dwg

afternoon

I am working on a project within C3D where the client requires the solids within a corridor to be spilt into individual .dwg’s which are then federated in a central location.

Is there anyway to select objects via layer, then export then to individual .dwg’s but still keeping the same x,y,z coordinates

Hello Paolo, really great contribution, thanks for sharing!
I am trying to modify your script to group all solids on single layer (same as current objects) and export them together to a unique file, any tutorials or “Python for Dummies” links to learn some basic scripting that you would recommend, or any course more focused on Python for dynamo and cad applications that you’re aware of? Any recommendations would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!
