Error with Doc.ActiveView and Structural Plans

I think this error has been there for quite a while. The “ActiveView” node works excellently for all views except structural plans. You end up with the following error:

Warning: Document.get_ActiveView operation failed.
Unable to cast object of type ‘Revit.Elements.UnknownElement’ to type ‘Revit.Elements.Views.View’.

Hi there, this is also happening for Area Plans. Has this even been looked at? I looked at GitHub but couldn’t find anything on the issue.
