Error when trying to cut solid by planes while using dynamo

01.02. Cut Solid by Plane (Points Z+).dyn (25.4 KB)

Hi guys,
I’m trying to cut Solid 3d by plane using z Plane and point from excel. But for some reason, some planes don’t work correctly returning the same solid without a cut.

I tried to identify the problem but dynamo does not return any warning.

All responses will be helpful

PD I attach dynamo node and link of solid 3D in civil 3d

Hello @equispea
Your script refers to the Excel file. Can you share there?
Maybe I’ll find the solution…

thanks,

this is the xlm file :Points Z+.xlsx (10.2 KB)

Your script is OK.
Except it takes hours to finalize the task.

Thanks for prompt reply. I could not find Autocad Package. From which package you got this node ?

No need to install AutoCAD package.
It is already in Dynamo for Civil 3d.

My bad, I was looking for this node in Revit. I wish they had similar node in Revit Dynamo. Thanks anyway

For those who are searching for similar Node in Revit, you could use Geometery.Intersect.
