Does anyone know of a node or package better than the OOTB node- it doesnt seem to pick up all hosted elements like face based or wall based.
Can you show an example of this node failing? If it isn’t working ideally we’d let the development team know how so that it can be improved.
yeah, draw a wall. put a wall hosted light on it, a window, and a door. Select the wall and run it through the node. It gets the window and door, not the light. Wall hosted and face hosted seem to be ignored but also seem to have a different internal definition of hosted since I can add the selection shown here to a design option without the light, but never the less if this wall is deleted, the light will also be deleted.
Can you post that .RVT and the simple .dyn?
Yeah sure no problem here you go- Script uses SelectinRevit from Spring nodes, the rest should be OOTB
