Dynamo script for creating dynamic legends

Hello everyone,

Can you give me an idea or guide me if there are Dynamo scripts to detect blocks, polylines and lines, then display them in a dynamic legend with three columns:

  • Column 1: object type or symbol (block, polyline, etc.).
  • Column 2: object name (block name, polyline, etc.) or layer name.
  • Column 3: quantity (in units (U) or linear (ml)).

This legend should also be able to be exported to a well-organized Excel file, with the same structure: column 1: for object type or symbol, column 2: for object name or layer name and column 3: for quantity.

NB: all this must be dynamic so that each change or modification can adapt.

Thank you for your response. I haven’t tried anything yet because I currently only have an idea or some initial thoughts about it. I’ll look into whether anyone has done something similar to find inspiration that aligns with my needs.
