Dynamo Routine to Match width and Height to parameters

Hi, is there a way to match a family parameter to a type parameter to link on a quantitity


so if i change it shape, i apply the routine to update the wood quantity of a concrete beam

Thank! helped a lot, i made the rest of the code to aply on the parameter but for multiple beams it dont work
for one its working


but when tryng to do the code for multiple beams the parameters dont change! any tips to do this with all beams?

How did u put to separate the 0 list, 1 list of the get parameter by name? not on auto mode
it is giving to me 19x19 on list one and 20x20 list two

I don’t really understand your question (you’re talking about the calculation mode: Auto Shortest Longest or Product) or the management of list levels with Chevrons (>)

how do i set up for calculation mode to longest, i managem to set up to L2 but maybe this longest is not set up

You have not tried the fundamentals with Dynamoprimer with the 3 points right button

oo now it worked, thank you very much! i had troubles with the translation because in my portuguese dynamo the lacing name its truss, not lacing, thanks for the help!

Without wanting to pass judgment :wink:, you have to do this dynamoprimer, it helps you enormously later (it’s also very good)
