No I meant, what happens when you manually place the family in Revit? Did you check the family file?
yeah good idea as well, but with use family instance by point node for connect mep fitting/accesories it will almost be mision impossible for connect and keep systems
yeah i did, when i place them by hand they automatically snap so i guess there is nothing wrong with the families
oh nice, yeah this is what i need. sorry for the wait but i didnt know what u ment with the earlier comment. sadly the custom fittings are what we use here so i got to get them working… would ur custom script work on a list of pipes with projected points on it? then my full script would finally run and be finished
is it neccesary to create lists of points for each pipe? or just a list also good? did ur python script change from the first one? if so could u share it with me so i can change it to fit perfectly with my inputs?

okay i tried it multiple times and it says that i cant rotate elements into this position (revit error) how did u resolve this?
