I am a beginner in Dynamo, and I am trying to export some information from an object, which consists of 2 polylines in different layers. I want an Excel table with 3 columns: layer, length, and color. Is it possible to extract this information from a .dwg file using Dynamo? How can I do that?
I managed to import a single polyline length information into Excel; however, the number is not accurate. The length of a specific line in the .dwg file is ‘5,’ but the information generated in the .csv file is ‘499,999,999,999,545.’ I am having difficulty collecting this information from other layers simultaneously and also exporting a more accurate and concise number. How can I achieve this?
Hi and welcome to the forum.
The Curve.Lenght in you graph returns the same length as in your excel.
Are you sure that your polyline is 5m (or the unit you use)?
I tried to do the as as you to see what result I achieve and Dynamo for Civil 3D 2023 return 5
Can you upload the graph and a example file?
