Dimension ByReference lacing

I’m trying to use your Dimension ByReferences node but am finding problems.

If I use the longest lacing, I am getting duplicate dimensions despite only one dimension (per view) being output from the node.

Updating the input data structure to Auto is also failing

It seems to be an issue with the lacing but I can’t figure out what. If I have more than 2 references I need to use longest lacing. But if I only have 2 references, I need to use shortest lacing. Is this correct?

What am I doing wrong?

Your first picture with the longest lacing is correct.

duplicate dimensions

Try closing and reopening the graph without making changes betweens runs. The duplicate dimensions seem to be created whith multiple runs when disconnecting and connecting inputs to the Dimension ByReferences node.
