Custom Selection Script

I’m new to fairly new to Revit (coming from Vectorworks) and extremely new to Dynamo. I was wondering if it was possible to script a way to select Lighting Fixtures based on certain criteria (working plane, ceiling, level, etc.)? I specifically, at least currently, want to be able to select all Lighting Fixtures within a single view based on their reference plane (or lack thereof).

Any tips or help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would highly suggest working your way through the Dynamo Primer and getting yourself familiar with the forum and all its posts. The Primer covers all the basics of getting started with Dynamo, including managing elements and parameters.
