I am trying to create a script that will draw area boundary lines in a specific plan around different elements, specifically columns. I want to have the ability to draw a bounding box around a Wide Flange column, or be able to trace the outline of it with an area boundary line. I also want it to recognize and place lines at all other columns as well. Below is what I have so far, but I am stuck.
I would also like to do this same thing with walls, but have the ability to choose which face to place the boundary line at. I have been able to create one that places it automatically in the center of all walls.
