I’m trying to dimension a curtain wall from a linked file.
But if I run the graph as is, it crashes. When I freeze the node Convert Linked References and then unfreeze after it’s started a partial run it completes as expected. I’ve tried wrapping it in pass through to emulate whatever the freeze is doing… but still no luck.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
There are four dimensions, I can leave the top one unfrozen and it works ok,
so, I thought maybe I need to put all the references into one node and try to sort them out on the other side, but If I try to isolate any of the other three dimensions, they all crash individually too. So only the top one works as expected the bottom three have to be frozen when the node starts and then If I unfreeze them, they complete as expected again.
But obviously this is practical if I give to someone else to run in Dynamo Player.
