Just a quick Idea, (the point thing has to do sometimes with the order the are created.) How about you place a point some where far off to the lower left of the points and do a logic to say distance between those points (per polycurve/surface loop) and filter by the shortest distance. That way you would have the consistent point in the corner you want every time. ( 30 sec review / idea)
