Changing Exterior Side of Window Family?

I’m trying to create an embedded window-room schedule to create a light and vent schedule. The problem I’m having is that the window does not register in the room unless I flip the direction, so that the exterior sill and other components are facing into the room itself. Is there a way in Dynamo to flip the default directionality of the family without remodeling each one? What defines the exterior face of a family?
