Change the category of family without disconnections

Please I want to change the category of a sprinkler head, but when I reload this family I find myself with quite imporatnt disconnections, is there an automated or much easier method to do so?

thank you for your answer ,it work good from the first category to generic model , but when i try to change the generic model to another cateogry i found the seem problem of disconnection

Hi @medo95 thats pretty normal…but you could try connect again with use of mepover or openmep pacakage…but dont think there any easy way here…here is a fast example…know its a duct and damper but it should be the same issue…here with connectinto node
