I need to offset the ceiling created from the floor face reference by a few centimeters. For regions where it stands out from the floor area, but it is not working with any tested node, and the error informs that; Curve joining produced more than one edge in the polycurve. A polycurve must have exactly one edge.
What you mean? How to fix?
Maybe try feeding the curves into a Polycurve.ByJoinedCurves node?

You might need to join the curved before offsetting them. Try swapping the order of those two nodes.
