I’m sure this been discussed before, but I’m looking for a way to export my ceiling grid as ifc and make it visible in Solibri. Guessing it’s possible by turn the grid into 3D objects somehow(?).
Did you look for similar topics to see what’s been discussed? Are there any existing solutions?
What have you tried so far? If you don’t know whether it’s possible or not, then you should start there. That would be a better question for another forum. If you come to the conclusion that you need to generate 3D geometry from the ceiling grids then Dynamo may be a solution.
Upgrade model to Revit 2025, export to IFC.
In Revit 2025.2 (I think) the team enabled export of ceiling grids
