Hey guys,
I just stumbled upon a problem in Dynamo for Revit 2019. In the picture below you can see, that I can select the category project-basepoint, but I cannot get this category from the node Category.ByName as it throws the following error: “Warning: Category.ByName failed! The selected category is not permitted in this document.”
This makes no sense to me, as I can get the category with the Categories node and it also works to get the category via python and the FilteredElementCollector.
I just wanted to let you guys know and maybe someone will need this info.
This problem only occurs in Revit 2019 and does not appear in Revit 2021 or Revit 2022
