Dosnt seem like it. Tried copying worksheets putting in new data but it always seems to clear the file
Can you show us what you mean? You can read the existing data and append your new data to it before writing back to excel. I haven’t used BumbleBee in a while but the core node has an option to overwrite or not.
Cant see the BB overwrite. Ended up using the OOB nodes. So it writes a new sheet without overwriting the whole document. Been making a document register matrix. Almost there that it carries history across to a new sheet and organises itself around new sheets and revisions 
Although a few formatting things to workout in excel.
