BySweep2Rails

I’m trying to create a sweep by 2 rails. It works with a circle profile fine.

But I can’t do with a rectangle. Are there certain rules for this tool?

The thing is when creating a tunnel (or a road plate of a viaduct) that bends and levels up, sweeping a profile creates an angle in the section. I was thinking to control this angle by sweep 2 rails.
AngleBySweep

Would a “Solid.ByLoft” be able to work for the above case? You’d still be able to control the angle of the viaduct from the second loft section, but you’d have to make sure that the points of the guide curves are connecting to the equivalent point on each loft section.

Thank you for the answer Dimitar.

I’m also using loft (dividing the angle to the number of the profiles along the way etc.).

The reason I’ve looked into BySweep2Rails was I learned that our Infrastructure guys can give me the 2 boundary paths of the road.

Making the BySweep2Rails work would mean I’ll never have to deal with angles anymore…

Hello ,

I have tried at my end and it seems there is some problem with Solid.By2Rail node.

I have logged issue for internal tracking. (MAGN-8002)

I will get back to you once it is fixed.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks,

Ritesh
