I am new in dynamo and I try to take off all materials from a revit model associated with the room name where they are located.
I’m not looking for a whole solution, as I would like to develop it by myself, but i would like if anyone could put me in the right direction how to do this.

What do you mean exactly ?
Elements that touch rooms ? coverings finished floor?
or you talk about rooms where the materials are driven by Keyschedules and RoomTypes (Office, floor, technic,…)

I am trying to extract the quantity of materials that are in each room for location based scheduling. If i export the model in Navisworks, i see only Basic Wall and I don’t know where is it until I click on it and find it in a model. If I’m able to extract it from Revit and rename it as WallRoom01 I can completely automate the scheduling. I’m aware the a wall is sharing two rooms, but if one is allocated to a certain room, than it can be ignored in the other. Same with all the materials in the room, including M&E.
