As described in the title I’m getting this warning when I try to use the mencioned node. I’m trying to get the intersection between lines in the open document and solids from a LinkElement. Has anyone had this problem?

That’s generally an indication Revits usless geometry engine cant represent the Solid using ASM. If that is the case, then it might be a showstopper.
Can you post the link file with an element exhibiting the problem which reproduces the problem?
