Assign material to family or elements

Hi Dynamo community,
I would like to assign a new material, I created, using Dynamo to a family or to a category, which is normaly beeing done manually using the object style manager.

You can certainly assign materials to elements or types.

Not sure about assigning materials to the object styles, since I’ve never done that.

Are you trying to assign the materials to the elements, or are you trying to assign the materials to the object styles?
