Annotation Tags for points - Error: There is no Tag avaiable

Hi, im using revit 2016, Dynamo 1.2 and the Package “Bakery 2016.11.1”.

Im trying to tag points in a list with text also in a list.
The lists have the same lenght.
The 3D-View in Revit is blocked.

Now i got an Error “There is no Tag avaiable”. So i think it has something to do with the family type i choosed.
I tryed different typs, but it diden’t work.

Can someone help me with that?

Hi @Hannes

Try selecting different View instead of 3D View.

The same error appears also with another view.

Tags can’t be placed in 3D views. It happens that you need to relaunch Dynamo in that sort of situation…

The revit and dynamo file and the xml i get the information out.

He…i stumbled over an solution/answer for my problem:slight_smile:

So i made a new revit project with english language and load my old dynamo project. All the familytyps are now also in english. So i must select new familytyps, because the old could not be found because of the language differences.
I had luck to select the right one and stumbled over some familytypes who functioned.
It depends on which familytype you choose at 1. and 2. They influence each other.

Can someone explain why only some of the familytyps work together?
Can i made my own familytypes?

What do you mean exactly? You shouldn’t make use of room tags on a window family instance, but this is a basic Revit rule…

Tur=door
Gelander=railing

Yeah…now i understand. The family tag depends on the familytyps.
Is there a point family and a suitable tag i can dl somewhere else?

I just want it like that:


But instead of Areas, i have points and they need to labeled:)

two simple geneneric model familys
probably you whant to change them

you can tag them with a generic model tag or a multicategory tag
