Adaptive Components in a row along a path

Hi guys,

Im trying to model some tunnel blocks along a path. Now I got a problem that when Im changing the length of one block in my excel file (from for example 10 Meters to 7 Meters) its not changing the length in the right direction . Has somebody a solution for that?
Thank you in advance!

Hi again

I did not really got what you meant by “changing in the right direction” :frowning:

Hi
in the first Revit screenshot both blocks have the same length of 10 Meters.
But for example I want the second block to have the length of 7 Meters. So I changed that in the excel.
The length difference of old and new should be 3 Meters. And I want that Dynamo reduces the length into the direction of the first block.
I hope you know what i mean

Hi,
I don’t know what’s happening in your graph, also because it’s not complete, but if you want to place a 2-Point-Adaptive Family on a curve, the workflow is way easier:

Of course you need to have a correct excel input and remember to use Cross Product Lacing for the nodes Curve.PointAtSegmentLenght
